TFFE – Turkish Fashion Fabric Exhibition

Design and conception trend forums

We were commissioned by ITKIB, the Turkish export association, to educate the industry, through trend seminars and workshops, about textile innovations, consumer insights and trends in fashion and design. We were then responsible for the design and conception of a great number of trend forums organized during the Turkish Fashion Fabric exhibitions that are organised globally. These forums showcased the most influential textile developments of Turkish manufacturers exhibited in the context of fashion and lifestyle trends.

Brick

Creating a stage

This exhibition showcased the results of experiments architects, designers and visual artists carried out using the brick as a starting point. Inspiring and exciting results were produced from 16 participants from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds, from just 1 assignment: develop a new type of brick. The design processes and stories from the participants where captured in a catalogue. We designed the book and the exhibition.

Heimtextil Theme Park 2015

 

We defined the trends as part of an international trend team that was created on invitation by Heimtextil. Stijlinstituut was then responsible for the concept, design and production of the Theme Park which was an expanded platform where all communication concerning trends and information was aligned and shared through various media. We designed and edited a trend book, produced a movie, created, and provided content for, a dedicated web environment and designed a 2,200m2 trend forum plus 3 trend spots, kinetic poster mobiles and various types of signage to highlight trends throughout the fair.
