Heimtextil trend forum 2015

Heimtextil Theme Park 2015, Experience

At the heart of Heimtextil we designed a 2.200m2 trend exhibition showcasing the latest in interior textiles and materials, combining aspiring architectural and interior design with pop up ateliers. Commercial materials from exhibitors were shown as well as commissioned designer prototypes; the exhibition also included movies, lectures and craft demonstrations. We gave ideas on new, inspiring textile possibilities for targeted environments such as hospitality and retail, anticipating what the future has in store. We combined the applicable with the aspiring, to inform, shock and trigger. We wanted people to leave our forums with a head full of ideas and a smile on their face.

With this forum we aimed to open up the treasure trove of the future. We created areas that matched different personalities, created environments that fitted these virtual beings like a skin. Each environment reflected their character, intimate inspirations and aspirations, capturing their history and the story of their lives.

Heimtextil Green Exhibition 2010, Utopia

We created a lighthearted, utopian landscape – an inspiring area to store a wide range of interior textiles and decoration concepts, all created with the best of intentions, leading to a positive vision of the future. All were high quality products made with minimal impact on the environment and manufactured in best-practice conditions; the design of the forum underlined this positive spirit.

We organised and curated a one-day exhibition and symposium in New York, during New York’s fashion week, to showcase the latest innovations in wearable technologies, and to connect the fashion and high-tech industries with key research institutions and universities from Europe and the US.

Exhibition design

Via Milano New Dutch Design Foundation presents its yearly exhibition at the Rai, Amsterdam. Each year a specialised committee selects the best designs presented in Milan earlier in the year. For two consecutive years we were responsible for the design of the exhibition, flyers and posters.

Retail inspiration

We created eight seasonal concept stores, placed in a row – all with a cutting edge, festival spirit – right at the heart of the exhibition. We curated, in collaboration with Uniquole, a display of what the new breed of Dutch designers had to offer. We found artful ways to showcase fashion garments, accessories and design items created by both established and emerging designers in a versatile and stimulating environment.

We show it to you

Trends are best experienced when modelled in 3D so that people can see, touch and explore them. We design and build multi sensory experiences. We apply trends to targeted segments and aim to appeal to a variety of audiences. We invite influential designers to exhibit and co-operate in the design and creation of our forums. The trend venues we concept and create range from 15 to 2.200m2. Our goal is that visitors leave our forums and exhibitions with raised spirits and a sense of discovery.
