Superstore Modefabriek Amsterdam

Retail inspiration

We created eight seasonal concept stores, placed in a row – all with a cutting edge, festival spirit – right at the heart of the exhibition. We curated, in collaboration with Uniquole, a display of what the new breed of Dutch designers had to offer. We found artful ways to showcase fashion garments, accessories and design items created by both established and emerging designers in a versatile and stimulating environment.

Storytelling is what we like the most. Design advances trigger us. Design matters and designers are well aware. We select and curate concepts that spring from consideration and critical awareness, from designers who create and produce for a resilient future.

 

First design draft

A fusion of a pocket-size department store, a mini museum and a market place. This concept housed collections of innovative fashion and design products from mostly Dutch designers – it was all about inspiration and creativity and was conceived for buyers, designers, retailers as well as consumers. Here you will find an animation of our first design draft for this Superstore.

We show it to you

Trends are best experienced when modelled in 3D so that people can see, touch and explore them. We design and build multi sensory experiences. We apply trends to targeted segments and aim to appeal to a variety of audiences. We invite influential designers to exhibit and co-operate in the design and creation of our forums. The trend venues we concept and create range from 15 to 2.200m2. Our goal is that visitors leave our forums and exhibitions with raised spirits and a sense of discovery.
